Virtual Stage Design / 3D Visual Art

Space Jump was a large-scale sci-fi livestream concert produced by 88rising in partnership with Douyin (TikTok) in 2022. Featuring 13 hip-hop artists, the show blended music and narrative, with each performance set in a custom-designed outer space environment following a space travel storyline.

As lead visual designer for the virtual stages, I created 22 custom 3D environments that combined digital visuals with physical set elements. My work brought the narrative to life in real time, showcasing my ability to build cinematic worlds and collaborate across large-scale, music-driven productions.

The livestream concert received over 170 million views, marking it as one of the most-watched virtual music events on Douyin.

Stage Scene Design

For Space Jump, I designed 22 immersive 3D stage environments inspired by retro space aesthetics—blending classic sci-fi visuals with tactile textures and oversized, reflective structures. Working closely with the production team, I aligned digital visuals with physical sets, camera movement, and pacing—bringing a distinct visual signature into a large-scale, coordinated shoot.

Virtual Production Design

To handle high asset volume and tight timelines, I built a real-time pipeline in Unreal Engine—enabling fast iteration, live scene adjustments, and efficient rendering. This allowed close collaboration with the production team while ensuring each scene met both creative and technical standards. Despite scale and speed, I maintained strong visual cohesion and delivered polished, cinematic results.
